Thank you, Christina, for a well written analysis of one of India’s biggest films! I was supposed to watch this one for a film class I took a year or two ago, but missed that week and have intended to come back to this film eventually. Sounds like a bit of a mixed bag, but still, one worth seeing as you conclude :)
