My 2023 Posting Schedule

A brief update to avoid confusion and so I can rest my brain (a little).

Hey all — happy 2023!

If it hasn’t already become apparent from my posting days and times, I am going to be running with a posting schedule for the foreseeable future. This is my final year as an undergraduate, and so it is seeing my write my dissertation which is proving no easy feat (as should be expected).

In fitting with the amount of work I’m having to dedicate to studies, my Medium posts have certainly slowed down. But, I have settled on the idea of two posts per week — one on Monday morning, one on Thursday morning — whether that post be a poem, short story, article, etc. This is on top of any featured work I publish elsewhere, so I may still be finding myself putting up 4+ articles per week from time to time, but this seems much more achievable.

My plan is (though, are plans ever really followed?) to hopefully increase my posting frequency once my university year finishes around June or July, as then I will be doing all I can to push my writing ‘career’ forward, and to make my creative endeavours support a living. This will take time, of course, and I will need to get a job, etc. but I can only do my best.

Thanks again to anybody who read anything I posted throughout 2022 — I hope this year brings many good new posts as my interests continue to gradually grow broader. And hopefully I’ll be able to join in with the Counter Arts and Rainbow Salad community more once the Summer comes around. In the meantime, though, I’ll be doing my best to bring two new posts per week and to keep a variety going over here.
