It's a great film but it is very graphic. If you avoid horror because you don't like waiting around for jumpscares or feeling actually scared, I'd say this would be fine. But if you struggle with gore, violence, etc. it's probably an avoid. There are a couple of scenes of torture, a lot of explicit sex which is made more tense by drug-inspired effects, etc. Horror doesn't often get to me but this one I still remember!

You could always do a daytime watch with the curtains open, haha ;)
