It did bubble up a bit of a storm early on in the year because of some controversy surrounding the idea of having sexual scenes between the actors themselves considering their stark age difference. I believe intimacy co-ordinators and the like were on set, at least, but the film is no less uncomfortable as a viewer because of that!
