I literally just rewatched the Road with plans to write about it eventually and I don't really like the film, to be honest. It misses the point a bit in my opinion. I also feel like Blood Meridian is devoid of any of the quiet quirkiness that makes No Country suitable to the Coens, I couldn't imagine them trying to tackle it. I could see someone like John Boorman having at it many years ago, but we can't time travel haha. Funny also to think that Ridley Scott tried to adapt it somewhere down the line, that might have been interesting.
