I agree with you entirely, yes. Triangle of Sadness, I thought, was absolutely awful. Many of this kind of film are quite smug in that they insist on their own prestigiousness while also kind of fighting against the idea of prestige itself. A frustrating trend for sure.

But yes - a Cage fan ought to see this film even if it is quite flawed, Cage’s performance is its best element I think! I hope that you can find more to enjoy here than I did :)
