Great work, Jungmin! I *really* need to catch up and see Barbie already - I’m feeling left out!
It’s interesting that a film with seemingly quite radical ideas about feminism and other contemporary issues is so massively marketed. You brought attention to some advertising for the film I wasn’t even aware of! There’s just so much marketing for it! But its success seems quite important - I think it’ll have some positive impacts but plenty of negatives (such as all of the other announced Mattel films - executives seemingly missing the point of Barbie’s success!)
